MELLIFLUOUS
“Mellifluous” (flowing like honey)
My dad taught me my first song (the “G-String Boogie”) on his Sears Silvertone guitar. I was 10 or 11 at the time, and enjoyed listening to him strum his Sears Silvertone, while Mom cooked dinner. I was quickly ‘hooked’, and played guitar throughout my childhood, teen years, and into adulthood. I continue to enjoy playing for family, friends, and community events (“Music for All Occasions”) “Mellifluous” is a collection of 17 original guitar instrumentals which I have previously released, dating back to 2008. Most of these songs were originally full productions with lyrics, featuring a plethora of talented vocalists and instrumentalists. This current iteration is simply me playing an acoustic guitar on a creaky stool... comparable to what one might hear in my living room, at an art gallery, or at a community event on Mill Street.
