BEAUTIFUL DAY
©Gary Bowman

Wonders to behold, Stories to be told
Giant Brontosaurs, Gentle herbivores
Huge, infinite eyes, Long necks reach the sky
Ferns that grow like trees, You are all I see

It’s a Beautiful Day, It’s a Beautiful Day

Once my inner fire went out
Now it bursts into flame
You have rekindled this spark
I’ll never be the same

Wonders yet abound, Beauty all around
Horns and frilly neck, ‘Ceratops bedeck
Toothless parrot beaks, Drink from rippling creek
Sunlit falling rain, When will I see you again?

It’s a Beautiful Day, It’s a Beautiful Day
