​High Sierra sunshine, What a glorious day!
Storm-winds a-blowing, The tall pine trees sway
Listen to the forest, As the wind-tones play
The mountains are calling, I’m on my way!
   
Through forest wilderness 
Into the universe

Say, you wanna be free, Rockin’ in harmony,
Come along with me, We’re CLIMBIN’ A TREE

High on a summit, On the highest peak
Topping a spruce, Hear the needles speak
Aeolian music, It’s the song of the trees 
Close your eyes, and smell the fragrant breeze 

 
Through forest wilderness 
Into the universe

Say you wanna be free, Swingin’ in ecstasy
Come along with me, We’re RIDIN’ A TREE

A hundred feet high, In a full-blown gale
Breathtaking view, O’er hill and dale
Landscape of beauty, Magnificent sight
Storm streams of air, And rivers of light
