COME A TIME
©2013 Gary Bowman There will Come a Time, When I won’t care enough, To lay it all on the line, There will Come a Time, And I don’t know when, Won’t you come and sit, and ease your troubled mind? There will Come a Time, Your smile won’t make me high, Your eyes won’t drive me insane, There will Come a Time, You won’t make me cry Teardrops fall to earth, like heaven’s rain. There will Come a Time, When love will abound, All greed and hatred cease; The mighty lion rests beside the gentle lamb, And we won’t use guns, to win the peace. There will Come a Time, When my heart will not race, And words, Won’t flow into rhyme. And, I won’t go crazy at the thought of your embrace, I’ll just keep on loving you, Until that time. There will Come a Time, When love will abound, All greed and hatred cease; The mighty lion rests beside the gentle lamb, And we won’t use guns, to win the peace. No guns and bombs to win the peace. Must be a better way to find the peace. |
