Westward bound, Voyage of Discovery
Like Merriweather Lewis and William Clark, On this, your epic journey

There’s a path that others shun, Lonely and forsaken
Adventure lies around the bend, On the Road Not Taken

Row those boats, Corps of Discovery             
Rapids, cascades, boulders and chutes, as you go, Up the Wide Missouri

Play that fiddle, and sing a song, O ye weary travelers
Evening’s respite won’t last long, From those mighty waters

Westward bound, Land of the shaggy buffalo
O’er the Great Plains, Prairie dogs and pronghorn antelope

Homeward bound, O’er mountains, plains and rivers
Roll On, Columbia, Ride those churning waters

Rushing towards the rising sun, Sea to shining sea
Blackfoot, Three Forks, Yellowstone, Down the wide Missouri
