©Gary Bowman Mmm...I’ve got the Mother Earth Blues Back in the day, I was, oh, so hot Through the years, I’ve cooled off a lot I’m going to give you, Everything I got Now, listen to me, Children, I’m your Mother Earth A tiny speck, In a vast Universe A Paradise: Earth, Sky and Sea The Sun, the Moon, The birds and the bees Garden of Eden, If you please Once you were Stardust, As I recall I was so big, And you, so very, very, small Now, you’ve grown up, And, I’ve just grown old You’ve built your cities, You’re so distant and cold You’ve got this world, In your hands, it’s true The clock is tickin’, Whatcha gonna do?
